Physiotherapist
Now, Mehmet has been one of those enviable people who has always had an interest in sport with football being his main love. After completing a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Hertfordshire that just wasn’t enough! So the only option was an accelerated Masters in Physiotherapy to allow him to work with patients hands on in a clinical, not just a sports environment.
For us at HeadStart its great, Mehmet has a keen interest in sport with experience working with young athletes and is part of our Sports Injury Team, but also has that clinical background meaning that he is able to lead our Chronic Pain Clinic as the specialist health care professional.
Mehmet is also one of the team who runs Injury Prevention workshops for local sports clubs, and assists in our WorkPlace Health Assessments.
