Candice McKendrick

Registered Osteopath, Naturopath and Medical Acupuncturist

Candice is a graduate from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine where she completed a four year Masters degree in Osteopathy as well as a Diploma in Naturopathy. And with her skill set she’s been fantastic at setting up our specialist Women’s Health Clinic.

She has a real passion for education, not only has she completed a post-graduate course in Medical Acupuncture, but also enjoys helping patients to gain a greater understanding of their condition. Understanding why injuries occur and what is happening to your body when something goes wrong really helps the healing process. It is also important in preventing a recurrence of a similar problem in the future.

Candice treats a wide range of patients from babies to adults using a combination of cranial and structural techniques as well as postural and exercise advice. She has a holistic approach, tailoring techniques to the individual requirements of each patient, she believes that the body should be seen and treated as a whole, i.e. to address the cause and not just the symptoms.

Growing up mostly in Africa, Candice picked up the travelling bug early on in life. Before training in Osteopathy she spent many months travelling the globe, where she experienced different cultures first hand. She loves exchanging stories with patients and any recommendations are always welcome.
